The UCC Search Reports are compilations of UCC filing data, including, but not limited to, original financing statements, termination statements, continuances, amendments and assignments. The various state governmental bodies do not warrant the accuracy, reliability or timeliness of the information they provide. Furthermore, the search logic used by the various databases will control the outcome of any given search. Many databases use what is called “Standard Search Logic” and will only retrieve data that matches the searchers’ inquiry if the searcher uses an organization’s or individual’s full legal name.
